Adriane’s mindfulness session was eye-opening and insightful. After just one session, this practice has come into motion in many aspects of my day-to-day life. She made it easy to connect this practice to moments where we too often take something for granted, miss out on connections, or react unwisely. The mindfulness session, hosted by Adriane David, was extraordinarily enlightening and presented an eye-opening perspective on how to approach life.  Adriane provided easy to grasp, “real world” practices to incorporate into daily life involving spending small increments of time being mindful about things we might otherwise be missing.  Adriane made mindfulness attainable by highlighting that mindfulness is not something that has to occupy large portions of one’s day.  I have already put much of the tips learned from Adriane’s presentation into practice!

Twenty minutes spent with Adriane can change my entire day, sometimes my whole week. As someone who has dealt with anxiety and OCD for over a decade, I often struggle with calming the stress in my own head. It is overwhelming at times. Adriane not only provides a safe space to talk about these things and an open ear to listen but she provides me with tools, little nuggets of wisdom and ideas that helps me reframe my stress. Adriane has shown me great warmth and compassion, a soothing voice and calm approach which allowed me to trust her completely and made me feel safe, all of which are essential in such a delicate and vulnerable state of need.  She taught me how to breathe, how to calm myself down.
